Test of Metal
Real strength is not measured in the body. Each body has different strengths and weaknesses, they are incomparable. One body could be weak from disease for an entire lifetime, or the healthiest and strongest of bodies could be instantly destroyed from the impact of a bus.
Strength is not measured in the mind. Intelligence is relative and we all have something different to offer the intellectual table. The most intelligent mind can be outwitted, the most stable mind can broken with despair. The “strongest” personalities can suffer with depression and anxiety.
So measure the strength in the heart. The heart can be broken over and over again yet if fixed correctly can get stronger and stronger. The more it is broken the more it can be reinforced with compassion and empathy. As we experience, so we understand what others go through.

Love is the strongest power we have and it is abundantly available. Love more. Yes you can.
Be strong my love. We are all in it together and can measure our strength in numbers.
Recovery from anything is recovering compassion for every broken body, mind and heart.
The world is divided into two types of people,
Those who have a loud voice and aren’t willing to listen.
And those who have a quiet voice because they are listening too much.
Let go, Ego
So, if we are but a body, made of stars, crumbs of carbon…
and other bits of atomic dust…
and we move with the same laws of nature as all other matter: quantum, relative, negative, dark…
with the same forces and energies…
patterns, calculations, systems…
And through our veins runs a familiar fluid, red with oxygen…twinned with hydrogen…
Water…
And we inhale and exhale the same air…on our breath…as does every other living thing…
And we burn fuel…Fire…
And we walk on Earth. Eat from it. Sleep and fall on it.
And we come from the same Space… all sharing the simplicity of this elemental make-up…
And our supposed true spiritual beings: soul, atman, self, spirit, is really the same subtle substance as every other – the same mystical metaphysical material of love, light and bliss…
And all these wondrous chemical processes, concepts and occurrences make perfect conceptual sense…
Then the only thing stopping them flowing, absorbing, landing, creating, producing and happening in their natural way…
Is the Ego.
This presence of an unnatural force can twist our bodies out of line, and create chaos in our complexity…
The ego can manipulate our conscious minds and alter our true sense of being…
It can slow down and speed up our energies without our consent. Block. Stagnate. Hesitate. Worry…
Consume. Exacerbate. Impinge. Demand. Falter. Humiliate.
Yet we’ve become accustomed to nurture it, to value it highly…
We’ve been conditioned to pride in the ego at the expense of happiness and health – our own and others’.
So why? How have they evolved so far with us? This thing of the individual that can destroy itself.
For it is the key point of the individual persona that can be controlled by others. It is the strings on our puppet selves. The reigns on our backs. The bit in our mouth. Our ball and chain.
It is the place where the vice gets tightened. The spikes penetrate.
It is the orifice to be violated.
We must take back what is ours, give back what belongs to others, and let go of what has been imposed upon us.
Take back the reigns and ride into absorption. Let go of the ego and fall into the abyss of bliss.

Great Thought. Really a good one. Something like a “Eternal Bliss” which can never be attain but still exists in our mind.
